Recently Mike and Margie Johnson of EverythingCody.com, RecommendCody.com, the Cody Trolley Tours, and Rivers Bend Mobile Home Park took a trip above the Cody skyline atop Cedar (aka Spirit) Mountain. The purpose was to seek out the locale of Buffalo Bill's "real" grave site. Check out the photo essay here.

I talked to a history professor about this, and he admitted it was a possibility, but historians mainly pass over the different gravesite as trivial. He did mention he would like to dig up the mountain to find the gravesite, though, since he worked at BBHC earlier in his career.
