In a shocking vote following much private debate, cartoonists decided that Disney’s dog , Pluto, was in fact, not qualified to be a dog.
This news comes not long after the former 9th planet Pluto was demoted to a “dwarf planet.” This decision left many wondering if a raincoat is still a coat, and a cell phone is still a phone, why isn’t a dwarf planet still a planet? Astronomers put on a front of support for the popular Disney dog, but apparently cartoonists had other feelings.
One cartooninst, who wished to remain anonymous was quoted as saying, “Come, on, Pluto, a dog??? That’s just goofy!”
Cartoonists are yet to come up with a classification for the popular non-speaking Disney former pooch, but it could have effects that stretch to other cartoon dogs.
) On another count, Mickey Mouse is near the same size as Pluto in the cartoons. Hardly a dwarf. Add that to the Plutos walking about the Disney theme parks.
