The feed for GovTrack.us’s RSS on Wyoming’s D.C. Delegation has been updated to include newly appointed Republican Sen. John Barrasso.
(and now the part that makes this a standard report fit for the news, which as we all know–or should know–my blog is not pure news, but a mixture of news, commentary and whatever else. But then again, so are most news outlets…)
Barrasso, who was appointed by Governor Freudenthal to fill the seat left open by the death of Sen. Craig Thomas, was sworn in to the U.S. Senate by the Vice President two weeks ago. The late Senator Thomas passed away just over a month ago after an aggressive battle with leukemia, which he was diagnosed with after being re-elected last November.
Seriously, how long until the Wyoming media realizes that we already know this???
