High School Valedictorian Censored

Foothill High School (Henderson, NV) grad and valedictorian Brittany McComb took a stand for her faith recently. Her valedictorian speech contained biblical references and even gave thanks to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The school board told her she couldn’t have that. The ACLU looked at it and agreed (big shock there).

The graduation ceremony came and it was Miss McComb’s turn to speak. She had been threatened with having the mic turned off if she didn’t edit out the “offensive” parts of her speech. Fortuneately, the First Amendment protects her too, so she pressed on and when she mentioned Christ, the mic, as promised, was turned off. The crowed was offended, not at the speaker but at whoever was at the sound board.

This young, patriotic lady deserves our thanks and the AFA is leading a petition of thanks. Until July 5, you can sign their petition thanking Brittany McComb for her standing up for what she believed. The goal is to have 100,000 signatures which will be delivered to her.
