Wiki B-Day

Saw this while visiting a commenter’s blog on Brian McCrorie’s Easter Bunny thread and thought it’d be something fun for today’s post, even though (to my knowledge) I’ve not been “tagged” by anyone out there in the blogosphere.

1) Go to Wikipedia
2) In the search box, type your birth month and day but not the year.
3) List three events that happened on your birthday
4) List two important birthdays and one death
5) One holiday or observance (if any)
6) Tag 5 other bloggers to complete

So, let’s look at the history of April 24


1800 – The United States Library of Congress is established when President John Adams signs legislation to appropriate $5,000 to purchase “such books as may be necessary for the use of Congress“.
