Global Warming Saving Us?

Is a global warming of sorts actually saving us? University of Utah researchers say that without hot rocks under the Earth’s crust, Denver would be some 700 feet below sea level New York City would be a quarter of a mile under the Atlantic, and Los Angeles would be nearly three-fourths of a mile below the Pacific. New Orleans finds itself 2,400 feet under the Gulf of Mexico. In fact the only thing in North America that would be above sea level would be some of the high mountain ranges.

Of course the global warming that comes from the sun (never mind that we’d freeze without it)  is far more dangerous. Is warming good or bad? Surely, it can’t be both ways.
